MOLC Re-Install

If you need to re-install the Main On-Line Catalog there are five steps you need to take.

On the Comptuer that you want the Main On-Line Catalog to run on do the following:

1. Ensure that the config.sys has the following setting: files=250. If you just added this setting then you must reboot your computer for the setting to take effect.

2. If the Main On-Line Catalog files are on another computer then you must map the drive of that computer to your computer

3. Create a folder called foxproln.

4. Create an short cut icon by:
	Right clicking on the desktop > select new > shortcut.
	In the Create Shortcut window click browse, select the mapped drive in the look in:
	Select the folder that the MOLC files are in.
	Select the following file: foxr
	Click open.
	The command line should now have the <mapped drive>\<folder>\foxr, after foxr add a space and put the following:
	+x -t molc.app
	then click on next
	Name the shortcut: Main On-Line Catalog, click on finish.
	The icon should now appear on the desktop.
5. You should be able to run the Main On-Line Catalog by clicking on the newly created shortcut icon.
